An oversized oval stone gives these statement earrings their unmistakable presence. Each imported 7A high-carbon diamond simulant creates an approximately six-carat look, delivering intense brilliance and a bold proportion inspired by distinctive oval earrings seen in contemporary celebrity styling.
The setting draws on Georgian-era cut-down collet construction. An outward-flared, dish-shaped metal base surrounds the oval stone like a sculptural frame, while eight short triangular prongs provide a crisp, architectural finish. The stone is recessed approximately 0.5–0.8 mm into the setting, strengthening the framed effect and giving the front a more substantial vintage character.
Crafted entirely from 925 sterling silver, the design combines a cool silver-toned setting with a warm 18K gold-plated semi-C hoop. A lowered post helps position the hoop closer to the earlobe, allowing the oversized oval stone to hang prominently below.

Design Note
The oval stone sits within a broad, outward-flared collet that forms a visible metal frame around its edge. Eight short triangular prongs extend directly from the setting, while the recessed placement of the stone creates the distinctive cut-down collet appearance.
From the side and back, the rounded closed setting gives the earring a smooth, substantial profile. The warm gold-toned semi-C hoop contrasts with the cool silver-toned setting, emphasising the jewellery’s layered two-tone construction.
The lowered post, open semi-C hoop and sculptural collet distinguish this style from the lighter four-carat hinged huggie version.
Stone Disclosure
The high-carbon diamond simulant is a man-made diamond alternative selected for its clarity, fire and diamond-like appearance. It is neither a mined diamond nor a lab-grown diamond.
“7A” is a supplier quality designation and is not a standardised gemological grade. The stated six-carat equivalent describes the approximate visual size of each stone and does not represent actual diamond carat weight.
Colour Note
The design intentionally combines a warm gold-toned hoop and setting back with a cool silver-toned front setting. Actual colours and reflections may vary slightly due to lighting conditions, screen settings and individual production batches.
Care Note
Avoid contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and household chemicals. Remove before showering, swimming, sleeping or exercising. Handle the stones, triangular prongs, semi-C hoops and ear posts gently. After wear, wipe carefully with a soft, dry cloth and store separately in a jewellery pouch.
